One Day Kitchen Spray Reviews
Here are a few of our five star Trustpilot reviews, each posted by customers whose kitchen we sprayed in one day:
“We spray recently completed a kitchen transformation for me. The team doing the work turned up on time, explained everything clearly, did a great job, left the place spotless and finished it all in one day. I was also very happy with the price I paid, which was the price quoted (no extras). Overall extremely happy with We Spray and would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to anyone.” – David
“Super job spraying the kitchen, all of the staff I had contact with were helpful and courteous. Everyone was on time and the spraying was completed in one day, an excellent job well done. The workmanship was first class and I would recommend this firm and the equipment they use without hesitation. Thanks to all for an excellent job.” – Margaret
“We had our kitchen sprayed by We Spray uPVC last week and we’re amazed at the results! Elliott and Laura have such a fantastic team who have completely transformed our kitchen from old fashioned to a fresh, modern grey. There were so many colours to choose from and Laura was really helpful in assisting us find the perfect colour to go with our flooring. Connor, Elliott and Emma were all friendly, polite and worked so hard all day. It’s crazy how much difference the spray has made to our kitchen and it only took one day as well!“ – Andy
Kitchen Spraying Duration
Kitchen spraying is our most popular spray service and our talented Spray Technicians have sprayed thousands of kitchens. Our teams are able to spray in a day many kitchens, however certain factors can mean that a kitchen spray may take a bit longer to complete, perhaps two or three days instead of just one:
- If there are a larger amount of removable items to be spray painted – our teams can usually spray kitchens with up to 25 cupboards and drawers within a day and so kitchens with more cupboards/drawers will most likely take over a day to transform.
- If the kitchen needs to be primed prior to being painted – our paint does not usually require the application of primer first. There are however certain circumstances where sanding and priming become necessary, such as when the items to be sprayed are made from raw MDF instead of treated wood. If the whole kitchen needs to be primed first, this would generally turn a one day spray into a two day spray. A lot of our customers choose us to spray paint their kitchen because the vinyl on their cupboards has started to peel away or has blown. In that situation, the careful peeling of the vinyl and priming of the underneath surface does increase the duration of the spray but the spray of the kitchen should still only take two or three days in total.
- If your kitchen is being sprayed in dual colours – our teams cannot spray items that sit side by side in two colours on the same day. This is because the area to be sprayed in the second colour needs to be masked off whilst the first colour is being sprayed and then the area that was sprayed in the first colour needs to be masked off once it is has dried for the spray of the second colour, to prevent overspray. Lots of our customers choose to have their wall tiles sprayed as well as their kitchen cabinets and for those customers who have chosen a second colour for their tiles, our team return for an additional day to spray the tiles, masking off the kitchen cabinets before spraying the tiles.
- If there is also a utility room – although there may only be a few cupboards and drawers within the utility room to be spray painted, our team still need to fully prepare the second room to ensure that there is no overspray and this may mean that an additional day of preparation is needed. The below photo shows the preparation that our teams carry out when spraying a kitchen on site.
- If there is no window or door within the kitchen – as an example, sometimes a kitchen leads through to a conservatory before an external exit and our team must also prep the area or room in between the kitchen and the exit as the team will need to run their extraction equipment from the area being spray painted to outside.
- If there is limited space within the kitchen – surprisingly, a very small kitchen can take longer to spray than a larger kitchen! This is because there may not be enough space within the kitchen for our team to manoeuvre and to store their racking, meaning that they must prepare an adjoining room also.
- If your property is quite a distance from us – we are based in Stockport and we complete sprays across England, Scotland and Wales. Sometimes our teams can spend as much as 4-6 hours travelling to the spray location, meaning that a one day kitchen spray would turn into a two day on site kitchen spray as the team would arrive late morning on the first day, complete the first half of the spray on that day, returning on a second day to finish the spray before setting off back towards Stockport.
