Kitchen Spraying in Stockport and Beyond
During May, our talented spray teams completed 43 sprays. Of those 43 sprays, 17 kitchens were sprayed, 13 sprays were external, such as windows, doors, conservatories and garages and 10 bedrooms were transformed. We also completed three other sprays, including office furniture pieces and even dentist chairs!
The sprays that we carried out ranged from 2 hours, for small sprays such as front door sprays to 5 days, for larger sprays such as the full external of a house, including all windows, doors, fascias, soffits, guttering plus the conservatory. The kitchens that we sprayed took between 1-3 days to carry out and the duration of the spray is dependent upon factors such as the spray option chosen, the size and number of kitchen items plus whether there is any vinyl which needs to be peeled away, which increases the spray duration as the underneath MDF requires priming prior to our paint being sprayed.
Kitchen Spray Options
Of the 17 kitchens sprayed last month, 1 customer chose option 1 (the fronts and edges of the cupboards and drawers) 15 customers chose option 2 (the fronts and backs of the cupboards and drawers) and 1 customer chose option 3 (the fronts and backs of the cupboards and drawers plus the full internals of the carcasses). Whichever option is chosen, our teams will spray the side and end panels, carcass fronts, plinths, cornices, pelmets, wine racks, exposed shelving areas plus the internals of glass fronted cupboards.
Dual Coloured Kitchen Sprays
5 of the kitchens that we sprayed were sprayed in more than one colour. Some customers choose to have one colour for their upper cupboards and one for their lower cupboards whereas others chose to have their island sprayed in a contrasting colour to the rest of their kitchen.
Peeling Vinyl Kitchens
4 of the kitchens transformed last month had damaged or peeling vinyl. Our teams carefully peeled away the vinyl from the kitchen cabinets before sanding and priming the underneath MDF. Kitchen Spray Colours
We sprayed a variety of colours last month, the most popular that we sprayed multiple times being matches to Ammonite, Cornforth White and White. Ammonite and Cornforth White are colours by Farrow and Ball. When we spray kitchens, we do not use the Farrow and Ball paint itself but have the colour matched and spray the match in the market leading polyurethane acrylic two pack paint, which is extremely durable.
Other Farrow and Ball colour matches that we sprayed last month included Card Room Green, Drop Cloth, Elephant’s Breath, Green Blue, Joa’s White, Mizzle, Oxford Stone, Pitch Black, Railings, Skimming Stone and Treron. As well as Farrow and Ball’s colours, we also have over 200 RAL colours matched. Here is the link to the RAL colour chart. RAL colours sprayed last month included RAL 9001 Cream, RAL 9005 Jet Black, RAL 5011 Steel Blue and RAL 7047 Telegrey 4.

Kitchen Spray Sheens
Every single kitchen spray that we carried out last month was in our 30% satin sheen. This is our standard sheen and the sheen that we spray most often. We do also offer 10% matte and 70% low gloss finishes however most customers choose satin, which is the finish that we recommend.
