Yes, kitchen tiles can be spray painted and our teams usually spray paint tiles alongside kitchen cupboards.
Some of our past customers have opted to have both their kitchen cupboards and tiles sprayed in the same colour whereas others have chosen separate colours. As with all of the items that we spray, you can choose from thousands of colours and from a matte, satin or gloss finish. Our teams use the same spray paint for tiles as they do for the other items that they spray, such as kitchens, furniture, windows and doors.
The cost of having your tiles sprayed rather than replaced is much more affordable! If you are happy with the condition and style of your wall tiles and would just like to update the colour, tile spraying is a great option. Rather than having to undergo messy building work in your kitchen with the possibility of your worktops or cabinets being damaged in the process, why not just have your tiles spray painted?
We are often asked “can you spray floor tiles”? Although our teams do respray kitchen wall tiles, unfortunately they do not spray floor tiles.
Below are some before and after photos of tile spray paint jobs that we’ve completed.
High Opacity White Spray Painted Tiles
White is the most popular colour chosen by our customers when we spray paint their tiles. The first customer chose white for both their kitchen cupboards and tiles whereas the second and third customers chose white for their tiles contrasting alongside other colours for their kitchen cupboards (a colour match to Farrow and Ball’s De Nimes for the second customer and RAL 7035 Light Grey for the third customer).
RAL 9010 Pure White Spray Painted Tiles
As mentioned above, most of the time when we complete tile spraying, the tiles are sprayed alongside our customers’ kitchens. These tiles were one of the sprays that we carried out where the tiles were sprayed and our customer’s kitchen was left unsprayed.
Farrow and Ball Wimborne White Spray Painted Tiles
We adore this kitchen cupboard and tile spray transformation! Both the cupboards and the tiles were sprayed in a colour match to Wimborne White, a colour by Farrow and Ball. If you would like to see the other Farrow and Ball colours that our teams have sprayed painted kitchens in, take a look at this blog post.
Farrow and Ball Purbeck Stone Spray Painted Tiles
Here is another spray that we carried out where both the cupboards and tiles were sprayed in the same colour. It is quicker for our teams to spray tiles in the same colour as the kitchen cupboards. To spray two separate colours, our teams have to spray the cupboards first while the tiles are masked off and they then attend on an additional day once the cupboards have dried to mask off the cupboards so that they can spray the tiles in a second colour.
Farrow and Ball Stiffkey Blue Spray Painted Tiles
This kitchen cupboard and tile spray was the second spray that we had carried out for our lovely customers. Our team sprayed their front door in 2021 and returned in 2022 to spray their kitchen cupboards in Purbeck Stone and their wall tiles in Stiffkey Blue. Following the spray, our customer left the following review on our Trustpilot page:
“We are thrilled with our kitchen and tiles spray. We Spray did our front door and after the service and quality we received, we decided we would have our kitchen done. The team are hard-working, reliable, honest and a credit to the business. We would absolutely use again and recommend to anyone thinking about it.”
Valspar Parisian Purple Spray Painted Tiles
Having your tiles spray painted means that you can choose a bespoke colour, making your kitchen unique! This customer chose Valspar’s Parisian Purple for her tile spray. Both the kitchen cupboards and tiles were sprayed back in January 2020. When we spray kitchen cupboards, we guarantee that our coating will not crack, peel, fade or discolour for at least 10 years. When we spray tiles, we guarantee that our coating will not fade or discolour for at least 10 years however unfortunately we cannot guarantee that our coating will not crack or peel. When spraying kitchen cupboards, our coating would usually bond direct with the surface being spray painted however when spraying tiles, our coating sits on top of the surface instead of bonding within it. The coating that we use is highly resistant to abrasion and other accidental damage and is still very durable, once dry.
Colour Match Spray Painted Tiles
This customer’s kitchen units and tiles were both sprayed in a colour match. We have hundreds of Farrow and Ball and RAL colours already matched however if you want to choose another colour, we can match and spray that for you. You can find out more about colour matching here.
