Is UPVC Window Spraying Any Good?

As the outside of our home is the first thing that neighbours and visitors see, it provides an important first impression and so having refreshed windows is important to ensure that the first impression given is a good one. Window spraying is a cost effective alternative to having windows replaced and it is a great way to update the colour of uPVC window frames. Whilst the majority of the windows that we spray are uPVC windows, we do also spray paint aluminium and wooden windows. Whichever type of window we spray, you cannot tell afterwards that those windows have been spray painted as they will look as though they have been manufactured in your chosen colour. Of course if your windows are damaged it may be best to replace them however if you’re just looking to modernise your windows with a fresh, new colour, it is definitely worth considering having your windows spray painted.

As well as existing installed windows, we also spray brand new windows (as well as other items) from our commercial spray booth for our manufacturer customers. Whether you’re a commercial or residential customer, we guarantee that after spraying your windows, our coating will not crack, discolour, fade or peel for at least 10 years! There are a couple of exceptions to this guarantee, including:

  1. Previously painted windows – whilst we are very confident in relation to the durability of the coating that we use, there are other paint spraying businesses who spray paint of an inferior quality. If your windows have been previously painted, unfortunately we cannot guarantee our paint as our paint can only be as durable as the original paint applied. Usually our paint bonds directly with the window surface being sprayed, which is what makes our paint so long lasting however with previously painted windows, our paint will bond to the original layer of paint instead and so if that original paint comes away, it could take our paint away with it unfortunately.
  2. Wooden windows – as wood is a natural material, external wooden windows can deteriorate due to the weather and because of this, we cannot guarantee our coating when it is applied to outside wooden items regrettably.

If your windows are made from uPVC, are unpainted and in a good condition, why wouldn’t you consider having them spray painted? Here are some testimonials from past window spray customers who have been kind enough to share their feedback following their window resprays:

“Excellent job carried out. The lads on site and Laura from the office were very professional in dealing with job in hand. I’d recommend Wespray to anyone thinking of having their window doors etc sprayed. Fantastic team.” – Chris

“Awesome Company to deal with. From the offset, Jenny kept me informed on dates and times they were able to undertake the respray of uPVC windows and garage door. Samples were provided so I could make an informed decision. David arrived as agreed and worked till late into the night for several days. He worked so hard, I almost felt guilty for him. He is a perfectionist to a fault. This suited me just fine as I share the same trait and have been known to be difficult to work for unless the work is perfect. I couldn’t fault anything!!!! Would recommend We Spray uPVC above others for their sheer diligence and integrity. Well done guys and a massive thank you to everyone involved for a seamless and stress free experience. I am so thrilled at the outcome.” – Chris

“We employed We Spray to come and spray our uPVC windows from dark brown to white and wow, what a difference, they did a great job. They are super responsive with great customer service, they provided a competitive quote and carried out the job professionally and tidily. I would have no problem recommending We Spray and will be using them again in the near future.” – Lee

“We used WeSprayUPVC in 2021 and several months later continue to be very pleased with the results. The guys that carried out the work were very professional and dedicated to doing a really good job for us. The price was competitive and they worked with us to meet some tight deadlines. We would have no hesitation to recommending the Company to anyone who is thinking of having their UPVC windows and doors painted.” – Jenny

“We are so pleased with our window update painted black from white and they look great!!” – Samantha
